I liked this article from Eugene Robinson.  I think there’s more to it than simply which side fixes problems better.  There are fundamental and timeless ideological questions about fairness and generally how to live.  These questions are ignited by diversities of all kinds (race, gender, class, geography, religion), and they constantly expose controversy in our founding documents and our American Dream.  Many people have not changed their views on these questions very much since 2004.  Many who have changed their views simply want a little bit of each party, and the parties make that very difficult.

Yet, Robinson makes a great point, and encapsulated a lot of our Nation’s political stupidity in a short article.
